Library Instruction

Facilities

The Library Insturuction Program uses two rooms in the library for instruction. While the Instruction Program has taught sessions outside the library such as in Radford or Clow computer labs, due to the proximlty of library materials, we prefer to teach sessions in the Library.

POLK 116A Hands on Lab

The Hands on Lab is used for the majority of library instruction. It can seat up to 38 students and includes:
  • 19 student computers
  • 1 instructor computer.
  • Laser printer
  • Link system which allows the instructor to send the contents seen on the instructor's computer monitor to the students' monitors

POLK 202 Helen Wahoski Room
