Choose a Newspaper Search Tool

• Start from the main library page
• Use the drop-down box labeled Find Articles By Subject to select Newspapers
• Choose one of the search tools under the "Best Bets" section - these are all full text search tools that will return full text articles on many searches.
• ProQuest Newspapers is good place to start, and so is Lexis Nexis
• For older newspaper articles, try the Historical New York Times (1851 - 2001) or the NewspaperArchive.com

Get Materials

• To find out if the library owns a particular newspaper title, go to the list of print and online journals and do a title search (remember to omit initial articles such as "the". Search Oshkosh Northwestern not The Oshkosh Northwestern)
• Newspaper microfilm is on the 1st floor North and viewing/printing machines are available.
