Society of Professional Journalists

Co-Presidents: Amanda Betts and Chelsey Orlikowski
Adviser: Professor Mike Cowling

The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) is the organization based around news-editorial students. The Society of Professional Journalists sponsors this club, and all student members are recognized as members of SPJ. Many of the SPJ student members are involved with the Advance-Titan student newspaper. SPJ attends the Wisconsin Newspaper Association Convention, sponsors speakers and events on campus and administers the Hearst Writing Competition at UW Oshkosh.

SPJ
