F. William Biglow, associate professor and past chair, advertising. Joined faculty in 1984. Worked for Magid Associates and Knight Publishing Company. Interned DDB Needham, Chicago, summer 1990. Obtained outside support that led to establishment of Journalism Research Bureau. Conducted research on media use by adults for newspaper associations in Wisconsin and Colorado. Presented papers on political information and advertising at national and regional conferences. Speaker for American Advertising Federation on effects of negative advertising. Taught political science at California-Davis, North Carolina-Charlotte and Davidson, and journalism at Colorado and Southern Illinois. Bachelor's degree, University of Florida.
