Miles Maguire is an associate professor of journalism at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where he teaches writing, editing and reporting. He has worked on newspapers, magazines, and newsletters in a variety of cities, including Baltimore, Milwaukee, New York and Washington.

His scholarship has appeared in Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Newspaper Research Journal, Journal of Media Economics and Journal of Information Technology & Politics.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University Maryland.
