Procedures
The Student Health Center staff performs a wide variety of medical procedures. Most procedures have a related fee.
- Examples include:
- Ear wax removal
- EKG
- Enema
- Eye irrigation and removal of foreign body
- Injections:
- Allergy injections
- Given by appointment only
- First visit - Bring a copy of your physicians orders and your allergy serum
- You must wait for 20-30 minutes after each injection
- Antibiotic injections as needed for infections
- Birth Control
- Depo-Provera
- Immunizations
- TB skin tests
- Given on a walk-in basis 9-11am and 1-4pm M-T-W. Must be able to return in 48-72 hours to have the test read.
- Travel
- Typhoid
- Hepatitis A - recommended at least one month prior to travel to endemic areas of the world. By appointment only.
- Other injections as ordered by your physician
