This two day workshop focuses on understanding and meeting Global Learning and Citizenship goals at both the upper division level and within the USP (global citizenship requirement). In particular, the workshop provides expertise on and support for revising or creating course specific Global Citizenship Student Learning Outcomes and devising level appropriate assessment activities.
Enrollment is limited to 10 participants to allow for personal attention and dialogue. A $200 Stipend will be provided.

The Inclusive Excellence Council is leading a new interfaith dialogue movement on campus. This initiative will culminate on April 14 at 7:00 p.m. with a presentation by Eboo Patel, a nationally recognized Muslim writer, activist and organizer who promotes interfaith cooperation and dialogue. Accompanying Patel will be J.M. Conway who will be leading this faculty and staff workshop. Its purpose is to inspire potentially interested faculty and staff leaders to be a part of the initiative. Conway will guide a conversation about interfaith cooperation in higher education. This workshop is designed for faculty and staff who want to learn more about interfaith cooperation and higher education.
The LTDC has received project funding to address universal design and accessibility for persons with disabilities in relation to learning technology.
These funds can be used for small projects with the goal of piloting accessibility or universal design strategies or technologies.
Requests cannot exceed $5000.
Proposals are due by May 1, 2015.
Funding must be disbursed prior to June 30, 2015.

This two-day workshop is designed to equip faculty with high-impact practices that will increase their effectiveness in reaching diverse students in the classroom. Presenters will discuss strategies by which to increase the academic success of underserved students, promote an inclusive classroom, and structure assignments and assessments into the course that provide deep insight into student learning.
Participants will receive a $300 stipend after course revisions.
