If you are in a suicidal crisis now...

Take yourself seriously. If your need is urgent, admit it. You deserve to get help, and to get it sooner rather than later. If you are experiencing intense emotional distress and need immediate response:

Victims:

If you have been the victim of violence (a bias incident, hate crime, sexual assault) please seek help with the following:

Bias Incident/Hate Crime (confidential) online form  http://www.uwosh.edu/stuaff/bias-motivated-incident-crime-reporting-form

A bias incident is any act, including conduct, speech, or expression, in which a biased motive (against a race, religion, disability status, ethnicity/national origin, gender, sexual orientation) is a clear contributing factor. A hate crime is a bias incident that has risen to the level of a crime. All hate crimes are bias incidents, but not all incidents are crimes.

If you do not need immediate response -- you are willing to hang on and work with someone who wants to help you --reach out to someone around you:  a Friend, Roommate, CA or RHD, Family Member, Clergy Member, or Faculty.

Sometimes we can feel very hopeless and alone, and we don't know how to ask for help. If you are concerned that you may harm yourself or someone else we strongly recommend that you reach out to someone for help.

Remember, if you feel you can’t wait it out, you can always go to the phone for help right now.
