Monday, May 7 Tour ABS, lab presentations (E. Menges, R. Bowman, M. Deyrup)
Tuesday, May 8 Tour MAERC (P. Bohlen, M.   McMillan)
Wednesday, May 9 Kissimmee River Restoration (L. Toth, L. Kerwin)
Thursday, May 10 Tour Audubon Kissimmee Praire (P. Gray)
Friday, May 11 Smithsonian Marine Lab (Ft. Pierce) and Bathtub Bay beach
Saturday, May 12 Corkscrew Preserve (largest stand of Bald cypress)
Sunday, May 13 Guided canoe trip along Loxahatchee River
Monday, May 14 – Wednesday, May 16 Project days (ABS, MAERC, RFL)
Thursday, May 17 Data analysis (ABS)
Friday, May 18 AM: data analysis, PM: presentations
Saturday, May 19 Rent canoes and paddles around Everglades, camp out
Sunday, May 20 Finish up canoe trip, wallow around Big Cypress National Preserve, eat awesome seafood, spend the night at ABS
Monday, May 21 – Tuesday, May 22 Drive to Alma

Tentative cost is $850; pocket money (t-shirts, pop, postcards, other items); and money to cover meals on the road (4 breakfast, 4 lunch, 3 or 4 dinner) and three dinners out down in FL (approx $120).

WHAT TO BRING

2 pairs shorts
1 beat up pair of khakis (jeans will be too hot)
6 old t-shirts
underwear and socks for 1 week
1 long-sleeve shirt (button up)
sweat shirt (in case it drops below 70F)
bathing suit
wide brimmed hat (NOT a baseball cap, your ears will fry)
sunglasses
sunscreen
tennis shoes
water sandals
towel
medicines
camera & 100 ASA film
binoculars
rain jacket
