Student Drop Off and Pick up:
Please make all students aware of the drop off and pick up spot on this day:
The closest drop off/pick up spot for students is in front of the Arts & Communication building (mall area) on Woodland Avenue, between Elmwood and Algoma (Lot #4). There will be an area in the middle of the block reserved for you to stop long enough for drop off and pick up. Since space is limited on Woodland, please move through as quickly as you are able.
Bus Parking:
Due to the limited number of parking spaces on the UW Oshkosh campus, our parking office has given us instructions to direct all buses to park at Titan Stadium rather than on campus. If your driver is also an instructor, you may park in lot #6 – as space is available - located on Warren Street. Park as far to the back of the lot as possible.
Directions to Titan Stadium:
Titan Stadium is located on Josslyn Street. Take High Avenue to Wisconsin Avenue, turn right; cross bridge; as soon as you are over the bridge, stay in the right-hand lane, which will take you onto Witzel Avenue. Go straight at the first set of stop lights; Josslyn Street is the 2nd street on the right hand side (right before Lourdes Academy); Titan Stadium is about two blocks down. There is a large black and gold sign.
Parking for Cars:
On High School Art Day, there will be open parking for cars/vans in all commuter lots – these are the lots in yellow on the on-line campus map. Note that parking is not available in Lot #11 adjacent to the Arts and Communication Building. Please avoid all restricted areas (handicapped and loading zones). Metered stalls must be plugged or a ticket will be issued.
Just a few tidbits about Oshkosh Streets:
- Once you cross Main Street or a bridge, the name of the street changes.
- There are a lot of one way streets.
