Eligibility Requirements for EFT
Before financial aid is applied to your account you MUST:
Sign
and return your Award Letter to the Financial Aid Office.
Be enrolled at least half-time in a degree program (exception: Pell grants are
based on the number of enrollment credits; refer to your current award letter
for credit requirements).
Maintain good academic standing in a degree program (as defined at UW Oshkosh
2001-2003 Undergraduate Bulletin, pg. 30).
Be in good standing with your student loans (i.e. not in default).
Have repaid any overpayment of financial aid that you received previously.
If you are a first time Stafford Loan borrower:
Complete the Entrance Counseling at http://www.mapping-your-future.org.
Return the Master Promissory Note (MPN) to the guarantee agency (i.e.agency that backs your student loan).
If
you are a Perkins Loan or Nursing Loan borrower, complete and return the
Promissory Notes to UW Oshkosh Student Loan Office, Dempsey 232.
If you are a Study Abroad student in a program offered by an institution other
than UW Oshkosh, file a "Consortium Agreement" with UW Oshkosh
Financial Aid Office.
