Accommodations and Services

Accommodation Recommendations are made on a case-by-case basis based upon the documentation and interview with the student. Typical accommodations include the following:

  • Assisted listening device
  • Print enlargements of course materials
  • Alternative electronic textbooks
  • Note taking assistance
  • Alternative testing locations
  • Extended time to complete exams

Adaptive/Assistive Technology:  adaptive technology includes computer peripherals and/or software used by students to improve access to academic material. The Access Lab is located in 120 Dempsey Hall and includes computers with large-screen monitors, page magnifiers,
