  • Possible Responses from the University

  1. Approval of Accommodation Request: After reviewing the request and accompanying medical documentation, the University will pre-approve reasonable accommodations. However, it must be noted that approval of these services does NOT mean that they must be provided for every course attempted at UW Oshkosh.

  2. Need More Information: Review of the information submitted by the applicant is incomplete or outdated and needs to be supplemented with additional and/or more recent information.

  3. Denial of Accommodation Request: The University determines that the request is either unreasonable, not relevant to the documented disability, not requested with adequate time for response/implementation, not substantiated by documentation that meets informational requirements, would interfere with curriculum requirements or university operations, is considered "personal" in nature, or creates an undue administrative or financial burden.
