How do I get technical help?

Filed under:
Have questions regarding Desire 2 Learn (D2L)? Assistance is available.
  • Students requiring technical assistance should call the D2L help desk, toll free at 1-888-435-7589 (option 3).
  • D2L help pages are an excellent source of information on creating D2L course sites.
  • The staff with Learning technologies are available to answer questions and work with you one-on-one, please email d2l@uwosh.edu or call Sarah Bradway at 920-424-2324 to request assistance or set up an appointment. (NOTE: staff are usually available 7:45 - 4:30, Monday through Friday)
  • A help desk is available from 6:00 AM - 1:00 AM to assist with other problems such as javascript, logging in, error messages, cookies, etc. This help desk is staffed via UW Madison; it is NOT the UW Oshkosh Help Desk. It should only be used for D2L-related questions. The help desk personnel will NOT have access to your course, so they will not be able to help with a particular course item. Call 1-888-435-7589 and choose option 3 or report your problem via their form.
