Phishing Scam Alert: OneClass Chrome Extension Inbox
A malicious "OneClass" Chrome Extension is part of a current phishing scam which, if installed, may send email on students' behalf and also attempt to collect user credentials. This malicious extension is known to affect any LMS, regardless of brand, and takes advantage of unsuspecting users.

The extension is not available in the Chrome Extensions Store. Students are being phished via an email that encourages the installation by offering a link. The message content contains:
"Hey guys, I just found some really helpful notes for the upcoming exams for <University Name> courses at https://oneclass.com/s/signup.  I highly recommend signing up fro an account now that way your first download is free!"

How Do I Create a Collection in ePortfolio?

A collection in ePortfolio gives you the ability to group together artifacts. This could let you manage content from multiple courses, group together content across multiple courses, and for example, share multiple items at once

  1. Open your D2L ePortfolio and click on the My Items tab
  2. Click the New button
  3. Select the Collection item from the drop down menu

  4. A new page will open in which you have to fill out information
  5. Fill in the Name of your Collection. It is suggested that you choose a meaningful name that is related to the content or purpose of the Collection. If you are going to share the Collection with others you may wish include your name in the Collection name

  6. Optional: fill out a Description of your Collection to help you manage your content
  7. Optional: Add private tags if you wish to help you manage your content
  8. Click Save
  9. The page will refresh and new options will appear
  10. Click the Add to Collection button

  11. A pop-up window will open, in the pop-up window select the Artifacts, Presentations, Reflections, or Learning Objectives linkAdd content to collection initial popup
  12. The pop-up window will change to a list of all the content you have in your ePortfolio. Click the check boxes beside all of the items you wish to add to the Collection
  13. Click the Add button at the bottom of the windowAdd to collection checkboxes
  14. The page will return to the Edit Collection screen click Done to save your work
