How do students get technical help?
Students who have specific questions regarding D2L can receive assistance in a variety of ways.
- If you are having a specific problem with a course (unable to access, a piece of content, discussion, quiz, etc.), please contact your instructor. Similarly, if you have any problems, taking a quiz or submitting to a dropbox, contact your instructor immediately.
- If you have problems with your username and/or password, please contact the UW Oshkosh Help Desk at 424-3020. Before calling, please make sure you are doing the following:
NOTE: The help desk personnel will NOT have access to your course, so they will not be able to help with a particular course item. Contact your instructor for content-related questions.
- If you have having technical difficulty with your computer or with connecting to the internet, you should contact your computer manufacturer or your Internet Service Provider. Some minor technical support can be found through the UW Oshkosh Computer Help Desk at 424-3020, 8:00-4:30 weekdays.
