Report any incident, even if you are unsure about how to define what happened to you. Assistance for reporting a sexual assault to authorities is available if requested. You may bring a friend with you for support. In criminal sexual assault cases, it is important to consider preserving evidence that may be necessary for prosecution of the assault. You may report a sexual assault to any one of the following departments on campus: the Counseling Center, the Student Health Center, the University Police, the Dean of Students Office, or your Hall Director or Community Advisor in Residence Life.
