The Classified Staff Advisory Council is proud to sponsor the Classified Staff Leadership Series.

The original program, entitled the Team-building & Personal Development Program, began in 2002 and consisted of eight interactive workshops led by guest speakers. Each year, approximately 25 classified staff members were selected to participate in workshops covering skills such as self-management, change adaptation, effective communication, work environments, problem solving and leadership. The program culminated with a recognition dinner for participants and their family members, supervisors, and included all of the guest speakers. 

The program was restructured in the 2008-2009 academic year and renamed the Classified Staff Leadership Series, and is now offered every other year.

2012-13 Series

Congratulations to the graduates of this year's Leadership Series! They will finish the series in May 2013. 

The following is the tentative outline of the September 2012-May 2013 series (each session includes time for group interaction): Classified Staff Leadership Series Calendar for 2012-13.

The online application form will be available for the 2014-2015 Leadership Series during the Spring 2014 semester.
