Created in May 2001, the Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) is charged with promoting a positive professional environment for all classified employees (represented, non-represented, limited term and project appointment), supporting professional development activities, encouraging informed communication among classified staff and with the broader University community, and serving as advisors to the Chancellor and other University administrators.
A major task for the committee, each year is planning the Classified Staff Development and Appreciation Day (CSDAD). On June 6, 2008, CSDAD featured Blaise Winter, powerful motivational presenter and former NFL player, as our enthusiastic keynote speaker in addition to the variety of other workshops focused on personal and professional growth. The committee has fifteen members, each serving three year terms
