CSDAD
Each year, the academic year for classified staff culminates with the Classified Staff Development and Appreciation Day (CSDAD). Chancellor Wells stated, "Classified staff at UW Oshkosh contribute greatly towards the vision, mission, and goals of the University and in creating a learning environment for our students to grow and develop." One of the campus initiatives he supports is the Classified Staff Development & Appreciation Day; the first CSDAD was held June 1, 2001.
2013 CSDAD
Mark your calendars for May 31, 2013!
This year’s Classified Staff Development and Appreciation Day will let us "Take a Trip Around the World".
The keynote speaker will be our own Larry Carlin, professor of Philosophy in the College of Letters and Science and 2011 Edward M. Penson Distinguished Teaching Award winner. Larry’s enthusiasm and expertise draws students to his classes to learn about philosophy and its application to everyday life. He is sure to engage and enchant us all on CSDAD. In his talk, Five (or so) Great Things About Working at UW Oshkosh, Carlin will reflect on life for all of us at UW Oshkosh: the accomplishments, the ups and downs, the adventures, the humor, and of course, the people. This talk will give us the opportunity to reflect, to laugh, and to celebrate wonderful things and wonderful people at UWO.
