Dana Hartel
Dana graduated from UW Oshkosh in 1986 but did not become an employee of the State of
Wisconsin until 2006 when she worked at the Wisconsin Resource Center. She then
joined the staff at UW Oshkosh in 2007 in Integrated Marketing and
Communications and recently transferred to the Parking Services Office. Her new
responsibilities include acting as secretary to the Parking Appeals Committee,
facilitating the Titan Transit program, providing customer service, updating the
Parking Services website and posting parking fees to student accounts.
Dana completed the Classified Staff Leadership Series in 2009 and participated in the Classified Staff Climate Study Review committee. She is a member of the Classified Staff Marketing Committee.
She is married, has one daughter, and finds that parenting is a whole new world of experiences. She is a percussionist with the Oshkosh Area Community Band, occasionally is able to use her singing and percussion talents at her church, enjoys photographing old farms and wildlife, and is a Winnebago Audubon Society board member.
