University Staff Grant
To participate, you must be currently employed at UW Oshkosh as a permanent University Staff member, and have completed at least one, continuous year of employment at UW Oshkosh.
Grants are intended solely for non-credit conferences, seminars and workshops (hereinafter referred to as an event). The maximum grant to be awarded is $100.
The University Staff member's unit/department must at least match the grant. The budget submitted must include the grant amount requested, the event fee and all estimated travel expenses for the event (e.g. mileage, other transportation costs, meals, lodging, etc.).
Grants are available during the Fall and Spring semesters. The application deadline for the fall semester is 4:30 pm, Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 for events scheduled anytime after between July 1 through Dec. 31, 2014.
Grant recipients will be notified by Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 and provided with information about their grant disbursements. Within one month of the scheduled event date (or upon notification of receiving the award), the university staff member who received a grant must submit a written report about the event’s content and how it met the employee’s and supervisor’s expectations. University staff members failing to submit a timely report will be ineligible to apply for another grant.
