- · Classified Staff Grant Committee Sabrina Johnson
- Sabrina will be meeting with Paulette to learn the details on processing grants.
- · CSDAD Planning Jean Bord
- Service provider letters have recently gone out asking for a donation of $5,000 each. A recent call for proposals for CSDAD workshops has also gone out. The number of workshops offered is down again this year. The committee agreed that we may need to be more aggressive in seeking workshop presenters both on and off campus.
- · Grant Fund Raising Committee Marlene Zdanovec
- Nothing to report.
- · Marketing Cindy Schultz
- Committee will be meeting later this month.
- SAS is still working on re-doing their by-laws.
· Key Operational Plans
Goals are good, but data on Classified Staff appears to be incorrect. A meeting will be scheduled with Beth Heuer to get questions answered before CSAC looks at the HR section of the Key Operational Plans. CSAC members are encouraged to look at goals and formulate questions before the Chancellor comes to meet with us.
NEW CSAC BUSINESS
· Healthy Titans 2010
There are still lots of questions surrounding this program, such as, how will this program be funded when others (like new employee orientation) have fallen by the wayside due to lack of funding. This ties in with the questions that will be asked of Beth Heuer as part of the ongoing discussion of the Key Operational Plans.
· Newsletter
Michelle Jensen has let Jill know that the newsletter is almost ready to go out.
“ROUND ROBIN” (other University business of interest to CSAC)
We’re still waiting to hear from Annie Short about our volunteer effort in April.
NEXT CSAC MEETING: Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in Dempsey 212.
