Karen Reiter
Karen Reiter is a Library Services Assistant/Advanced at Polk Library. She has worked at the Library for 27 years in the Acquisitions department.

Karen has served on numerous University committees. She is the Vice President of Local 579 of AFSCME Council 24, the Wisconsin State Employees Union. She has previously served on the Council 24 Executive Board as a representative for the Administrative Support Unit and has served on the AS bargaining team.

Currently, Karen is a member of the Oshkosh Chapter of American Association of University Women, and serves as the chair of the scholarship committee. A scholarship is given to a University of Wisconsin Oshkosh graduate student every year.

Karen has served on committees for the Wisconsin Library Association. She is also a past chair of the WLA Support Staff Section. She currently serves on the International AFSCME committee for library workers.
