Jane Preder

Jane has been at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh since 1990, working in Financial Services as part of the Student Loan Collections team.  Her state employment prior to this includes two years at the UW-Fox Valley and one year at the UW-Fond du Lac campuses.

After serving as Vice-Chair last year, Jane takes on the challenges of Chairperson of the Classified Staff Advisory Council for 2009-10.  She has also served on the Council for Equity & Affirmative Action.

Over the years, Jane has enjoyed taking classes through the Center for New Learning---usually just three credits per semester.  In May, 2009, she completed her Liberal Studies Degree with an emphasis in Organizational Administration.  The graduation ceremony was a very special and memorable event. 

Jane is married, has two grown children and four “fabulous” granddaughters.  She enjoys spending time with family, walking for exercise, and exploring the United States through travel.
