Michelle Jensen

Michelle Jensen
Michelle has been a part of the university community since 1992.  She began as a student and worked in a work-study program, but soon moved onto several LTE positions in different areas on campus (Admissions, COBA and Testing), and Project Appointment for Academic Support.  In 1996 she earned a bachelors degree in Journalism.
         
For a brief time, Michelle left the university (1998-2001).  During this time she worked for the Department of Natural Resources Regional Headquarters in Green Bay in Customer Service, Department of Corrections; Oshkosh Correctional Institute in Purchasing; and Winnebago Correctional Center as the Business Office Manager.
         
Michelle found her way back to the UW Oshkosh in May 2001 as the Reservation Coordinator for Reeve Memorial Union. For the past 3 years Michelle has been with the College of Education and Human Services as the Dean’s Assistant. 
         
Michelle participated in the Classified Staff Team Building and Personal Development Program.  Committee work includes the Classified Staff Advisory Council, Chair of the CSDAD Facilities Arrangements, UAGU, Gender Equity, and Chair of the Gender Equity Programs.  In her spare time she is involved in planning COEHS Social Events. She is also involved in volunteer work in the community.
         
Michelle has one son. She is a master gardener and spends as much time as she can in her gardens.  She also enjoys camping, fishing and sturgeon spearing.
