Jean Bord

Jean has been an employee of UW Oshkosh for five years. In January 1999, Jean became union steward for the Custodial Department in the WSEU Local 579. Since then he has joined the mentor committee, CSDAD Executive committee, Health and Safety, Committee on Committees, and Professional Development. Jean is very involved in department activities as well as the hiring of new custodians.

In January 2000, Jean started working part-time for UPS as a pre-loader in the mornings Monday-Friday 4am - 8:30am. When he’s not busy, he helps his brother on his farm with all types of fieldwork. This is special to him because that is where he was born and raised, a very important part of his life.

Jean is very happy where he is at right now with all of his daily activities. Each day holds something new to encounter.
