ACES Mentoring Advisory Committee Manages the mentoring and orientation programs for classified and academic staff
Academic Advising Council Provide guidance and support to the Director of Academic Advising
ACUG (Academic Computing Users' Group) ACUG is an advisory group to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Enrollment and Information Services to address issues regarding the use of technology for instruction, research, and support services.
Americans with Disability Act (ADA) Advisory Board Provides information & recommendations responsive to the needs and concerns of individuals with disabilities, both students and employees
Affirmative Action Council Provides guidance and support to staff regarding affirmative action issues

Open to ALL Classified Staff, not just council members.
CSAC Awards & Recognition Committee Works with the monthly STAR Awards, the annual Outstanding Performance Award(s) and classified staff professional development opportunities
CSAC Committee on Committees Ensures appropriate classified staff representation on all-University committees
CSAC Marketing Committee Publicizes CSAC activities and those University activities and events of interest to the classified staff
CSAC Classified Staff Development & Appreciation Day Committee Develops and implements the annual CSDAD event for all classified staff employees

CSAC Grant Program Members of the committee will review CSAC Grant Program applications and determine the recipients on an annual basis.
Diversity Council To provide visionary leadership that is strongly supportive of this University’s commitment to diversification of the campus community
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Advisory Board Advises the EAP director regarding services offered
EAP Public Relations Committee Outlines and implements plans for marketing and promotion of EAP programs and resources
EAP Quality Assurance Committee Reviews and makes recommendations on EAP program quality and services
Gender Equity Council The council is charged to act in consultation with the Chancellor to: 1) oversee the development of programs that support goals, objectives and initiatives of the Ten-Year Plan addressing women's issues; 2) identify persons responsible for implementing this plan; 3) evaluate the effectiveness of programs designed to accomplish this plan
Health & Safety Committee Reviews health and safety concerns
LBGTQ (Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, Trans, Queer Education & Advocacy Council) To provide visionary leadership, education, and advocacy necessary to cultivate an equitable, inclusive, and supportive climate for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community members of all sexual identities
Library Fines/Fees Committee Facilitates appeals of library fines
Parking Policy Advisory Committee Reviews and recommends parking policies
Parking Appeals Committee Facilitates appeals of parking fines
Reeve Union Advisory Board Advises the Director of Reeve Union on policy matters relating to the operation, use and improvement of Reeve Memorial Union.
Search & Screen Committees Some of these committees (hire faculty and academic staff) require classified staff members. Activities include developing the job announcement, and reviewing and interviewing applicants.

Ad Hoc Committees
An ad hoc committee is formed to accomplish a specific purpose and is disbanded when that is accomplished, e.g. University strategic planning, Convocation weekends, Fall Fest, etc.
