Cindy Schultz = top performer
Outstanding performance is a key requirement for the Star Award, and October Star Award winner Cindy Schultz has shown plenty.
The social work departments academic department associate for only 10 months, she has shown exemplary performance in all of her new duties there. The Star Award acknowledges those who have gone beyond the call of duty and demonstrated commitment to the university with outstanding performance in support of the universitys goals. In her first eight months with our department, Cindy has done just exactly that! said department chair Quintin Sullivan.
Not only did Schultz fulfill countless daily management tasks. She also assisted in developing the master of social work degree, two ongoing accreditation reviews of the joint masters degree program with UW-Green Bay and the application for social work major degree program and the departments federal Title IV-E grant.
And she also organized the departments move to Swart Hall last summer. The complexity of the job
demanded a person with the skills and good nature of Cindy, said Sullivan.
Schultz has work 22 years at UW-Oshkosh. Previously, she was in the religious studies department. She has been active on many campus committees and enjoys working with the students, faculty and staff. She also volunteers in the community.
The Star Award includes a framed certificate, a reserved parking space for a month and a gift from University Books and More. The award is presented each month to employees who have worked at least six months at UW-Oshkosh.
