Peggy Adamski Computer Science PA

Peggy performs a wide range of tasks in support of the Chair, the faculty, and the students. She is a cheerful representative of the Department to parents, prospective students, and employers. She is tenacious in tracking down information for book orders, maintaining close contact with publishers' representatives and the University Bookstore to ensure the stocking of the proper edition for all students. She is vigilant in verifying that each and every student enrolled in a Computer Science class meets the prerequisites. Most notably, this past year she spent many intense hours on data collection, word processing, and packaging of materials for the Computer Science Department's application for accreditation by the Accredtiation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), a nationally recognized organization that certifies Computer Science and other programs. The Chair of the ABET visiting team wrote in her report that "The program has one office assistant who was exceptionally helpful." This from someone who was stinting with her praise.
