Paulette troubleshoots computer and software problems, loads software, and more, at Polk library. Her ability to pull information together and organize also has facilitated her role as co-chair of the Awards Committee of the Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC). Along with library committees and CSAC, she also serves on the CSAC Professional Development Committee.
In June 2000, Feld received the Library Mosaics and the Council on Library/Media Technicians National Support Staff of the Year Award.

Paulette is president of Local 579 of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Council 24. Local 579 represents classified employees at UW-Oshkosh. She ensures that classified employees are well informed about their union. She also serves on Council 24’s executive board, as representative for the technical bargaining unit and as liaison to the council’s organizing committee.

“She’s always willing to put forth the extra time and effort to make sure that a project is completed on time and correctly,” said Brenda Garza, university services associate in the College of Nursing, who nominated Paulette for this award.
