Contact: Jane Preder
Created in May 2001, the Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) is charged with promoting a positive professional environment for all classified employees (represented, non-represented, limited term and project appointment), supporting professional development activities, encouraging informed communication among classified staff and with the broader University community, and serving as advisors to the Chancellor and other University administrators.
A major task for the committee, each year is planning the Classified Staff Development and Appreciation Day (CSDAD). On June 5th, 2009, CSDAD will feature Alan R. Blake (photo at left), the founder and managing member of Alan R. Blake, LLC, a firm that provides motivational speakers, workshops, and consultants in the areas of navigating change, teamwork and leadership skills development, and organizational growth. Mr. Blake will be speaking on “Navigating Change: Your Most Valuable Skill”. In addition, there will be a variety of other exciting workshops focused on personal and professional growth.
