Just Breathe Room

In times of stress, we are often encouraged to take a moment to pause and be present in the now. Mindfulness is known to help combat stress and improve one’s quality of life. The Counseling Center has a room devoted to learning skills that assist you in calming yourself, being present in the moment, and learning skills to assist in centering yourself and regulating your emotions. A counselor will initially assist you in the use of the room in developing your skills and then you will be able to use the room at your convenience and/or need.
