The 2009 Adolescent Health Symposium was established in the early 1990s to bring together educators, professionals, parents and guardians from a wide array of settings to:

• Discuss current issues affecting young adults
• Review and discuss research findings
• Discuss prevention strategies and ways to implement change
• Provide resources for adolescents, educators, and caregivers

This year’s program will draw from a foundation of health promotion and provide participants with interactive breakout sessions, supportive resource materials, and networking opportunities. A resource booklet and CD of presentation summaries and handouts will be provided.
