String Camp 2008
For students entering grades 5 through 12

This program will include instruction and opportunities to perform classical,
pop, jazz, blues and fiddle music. 
Serious string musicians are invited to join an experienced staff of clinicians committed to helping young people find joy in making music. The camp provides an environment that blends high-quality, intensive instruction with opportunities for sports, recreation and making new friends. Students receive technical and musical instruction from performers/teachers of violin, viola, cello and bass.
Camp includes string technique sessions, orchestra rehearsals, sectionals,
private lessons in the form of a master class by request and small chamber
ensembles. Evenings feature recreational activities, a talent show and
chamber music recital.
