Application Process

Current University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Students

Students eligible to apply to the clinical major must submit the admission application for the College of Nursing. The Admission application will be available after November 23, 2009. Transcripts are not necessary for current UW Oshkosh students, unless courses were taken elsewhere while at UW Oshkosh.   

Deadlines (by noon): August 30 for spring semester; January 30 for fall semester

 

Prospective University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Transfer Students

Transfer students seeking admission directly into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program are eligible to apply ONLY in January to begin the clinical program in the following fall semester. Transfer students must complete two applications:

  1. Undergraduate Admission Application for UW Oshkosh with transcripts. Application is available online or at the UW Oshkosh Admission office in Dempsey 135.
  2. College of Nursing professional major admission application will be available for the February 1, 2010 deadline after November 23,  2009.

Deadline (by noon): January 30 for fall semester

 

Students applying for BOTH the traditional and accelerated nursing programs

Students applying and accepted for the traditional program and the Accelerated Nursing Program must choose ONLY one program at a minimum of one week prior to the start of the regular 14-week University semester. Failure to comply with this request will result in the students name being removed from the list of accepted students for BOTH programs.

January 30th deadline extended to February 1st due to weekend.

Register for Interview Date

February 8-12, 2010

Nursing Admission Test (TEAS)

To be announced. Test dates will be conducted in the months of January and February 2010

Interviews Conducted

Weeks of March 1-4 and March 8-11,  2010
