Information

Graduates of the collaborative nursing option will receive a Bachelor's of Science in nursing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

UW Oshkosh provides all student-related services (i.e. advising, financial aid, registration) and the practicum and capstone course that provide students with an integrative educational experience.

Students enroll through the University but have the option to attend classes to complete the BSN at UW-Sheboygan or UW-Manitowoc.

 

Credit Transfer

Registered nurses accepted to the program will be eligible for up to 60 credits (30 nursing and 30 general elective) upon successful completion of a designated credit-confirming course in the collaborative program.

The general elective credits may waive the following pre-nursing courses if they have not already been completed:

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Biology
  • Chemistry and Biochemistry
  • English I
  • Growth and Development
  • Microbial Survey
  • Psychology
  • Sociology
  • Speech

Some additional certifications may be used to fulfill all or part of the nursing elective requirement. Please see your adviser if you have nursing specialty certification.
