Application Process

The admission procedure at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh involves two steps:

  1. Apply to UW Oshkosh Graduate Studies
  2. Send or email a resume directly to the Graduate Program Office, College of Nursing

You should allow 4–6 weeks for all of the admission materials to be received.

After your admission requirements are met, you may be invited via email to participate in an interview with a graduate faculty member. Students are admitted for full-time or part-time study only in the fall semester.

Send to the Office of Graduate Studies the following material:

  • Submit an application for admission to the Office of Graduate Studies; include $56.00 non-refundable application fee to UW Oshkosh.
  • Have official undergraduate/graduate transcripts sent directly to the Office of Graduate Studies.

 

Deadlines

The following deadlines are in effect for 2012:

  • Applications for Clinical Nurse Leader and Nurse Educator emphasis will be accepted until March 1, 2012.  Applications may be accepted after that time on a space available basis only.

  • Applications for BSN to DNP will be accepted until January 26, 2012. 

  • Applications for MSN to DNP will be accepted until March 1, 2012.  Applications may be accepted after that time on a space available basis only.
