The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s College of Nursing (CON) is continually evolving its graduate programs to keep pace with the rapid changes in the healthcare industry. CON students graduate with a core commitment to delivering exceptional patient care using the most advanced techniques.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
The College of Nursing’s MSN Program prepares bachelor’s degree-holding students for a career leading to advanced roles in nursing, with specialization as a clinical nurse leader or a nurse educator.
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
The University’s first doctorate-level program, a DNP program is scheduled to begin in summer 2010 for master’s degree-holding students and in 2012 for bachelor’s degree-holding students. The DNP meets new educational requirements for advanced-practice nurses.
RN to BSN (BSN at Home) to MSN
Through this collaborative program, registered nurses can take a fast track to the master’s program while completing their undergraduate degree. The RN to BSN to MSN Program also provides the working adult with the convenience of online courses and distance education.
Graduate Certificate
A 10-credit program, the Natural Alternative Complementary Healthcare Certificate Program provides bachelor’s- and master’s-prepared nurses with the foundations of alternative patient care.
