Application Process

Step 1: Enter contact information into the Accelerated Option database

Individuals in the database will be notified by e-mail when the application for the Accelerated Option (for the declared cohort) is posted on this Web site.

Step 2: Apply to the University

Apply to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh using the link below.

• Students applying to the Accelerated Nursing Option are designated as transfer students

• Second undergraduate degree

• Accelerated nursing major

• Term:  spring for May cohort and fall for October cohort

Please note: step 2 is an application for admission to the University; application to the Accelerated Nursing Option is completed in hard copy and mailed to the Accelerated Nursing Office. (See step 4 below).

Step 3: Check Requirements

Check to make sure that all prerequisites and requirements are met

Step 4: Apply to the Accelerated Online Option

Application to the Accelerated Option is “cohort specific.”  The application and all requested materials must be mailed to the Accelerated Nursing Office, postmarked no later than the deadline designated on the application.
