Admissions Sequence

First Round

  • Completeness and timeliness of the submitted application

  • Number of prerequisite courses completed at the time of application

  • Evaluation of UW Oshkosh transcript, including credit evaluation of all course work completed prior to application

  • GPA calculated based upon prerequisite courses

  • CNA status (CNA experience is preferred)

  • TEAS V Score *applications are not reviewed until the TEAS is completed

 

Second Round for Selected Applicants

  • Telephone interview 

  • Online interview conducted via e-mail

  • Review of resume and letters of recommendation

 

Admission Decisions

  • The admissions committee evaluates applicants’ performance on all three rounds of admission screening

  • A maximum of 30 qualified applicants are offered admission to each cohort of the Accelerated Option

  • Select wait list applicants are offered admission if one or more of the first 30 decline the offer of admission.  The wait list remains in effect until the start date, after which applicants on the wait list are welcome to re-apply for the next cohort

  • All Applicants are notified of admission decisions via email on the same day.  May applicants are notified by the end of December; October applicants are notified by the end of May
