Scholarships

Financial assistance is available to qualified students by applying to the Financial Aid Office in Dempsey Hall. In addition, several scholarships are available to students in nursing.

The majority of scholarships specific for nursing require admission to the professional component of the program.

For additional listings of scholarships please stop in the Financial Aid Office. Assistance may be obtained through the student services coordinator, N/E 41. The scholarship booklet is updated twice per year. The scholarships available for the spring semester are posted in the booklet available by September 30. The fall semester booklet will be available by December 30.

"I come from an undeveloped country, and I have had the opportunity to see those that suffer in pain and are dying because they do not have the means to buy medicine or even see a doctor. By being a nurse, I will be prepared to teach people how to prevent disease so they will have the opportunity to enjoy a better life."
