All students in the CS major must complete an internship or practicum as part of meeting their graduation requirements.

Internship & Practicum Information for Current Students

Spring 2014 Computer Science Internships & Practicums are due by Friday, February 14, 2014. All proposals must be finalized and approved by the Practicum/Internship Coordinator before this date.

NOTE: Beginning in the Spring 2011 semester, all students enrolling in internship or practicum will have to have completed or be concurrently enrolled in the following interdisciplinary course: INTRDSCP 208 -- Professional Career Skills in Math and Natural Science. This course will meet on Wednesdays from 12:40 - 1:40.

If you're looking for internship opportunities, two excellent resources on campus are the Career Services Office in the Student Success Center and the UWO Business Success Center. The center serves as a resource that can match you with an appropriate company or organization from their extensive contact list of off-campus employers.
