This week I worked on the group project with my group. We discovered that creating a Plone egg for our addon will be more difficult than expected. Plone developers create plenty of documentation on how to use a given collection, but there is nothing that shows a developer how to create a new add-on for the collection. Many people believe that teaching a person to fish is more beneficial than giving them a fish, but I guess plone doesn't.

I also completed the lab that was assigned for this week. I learned that clear directions on what should be accomplished is very useful, because the directions given for the lab were vague. Since the class as a whole has never worked with modifying an h2 database it would have been much more helpful.

For next week I plan on meeting with my group and finishing more of our group project. A good goal would be to create an egg that resembles one of the PTG eggs were used as reference. This could prove challenging because there is no documentation on how this is done. The only thing we could find is "Mr.bob", which does something along the line of creating an egg, but it's not it the format we were expecting.
