Blog Entry for Week Ending April 28

This week we read about URI and what makes a URI good. I learned the importance of the clarity of the names and variables in a URI. In lab we started our last individual project that connects our OpenMRS sever to a file where we can grab and use OpenMRS's data using Postman to get URIs that help access the server. I didn't have time this week to work with my group but I planned to do some group work tonight.

Obstacles I had with the project were many. My OpenMRS server was acting funny where pages would break and it would fix itself over time. I also had trouble entering patients and retrieving their data. I would save a patient with an observation but they wouldn't show up in the data. A classmate helped and showed how they entered a patient, and that way worked for me. With the team project from last week, the main problem is accessing and getting any kind of data. I can kind of alter the add-on I made but at this point there's just a lot of reading through code but we don't have much time left.

I learned how to connect to an OpenMRS server and create an html page that can display its data. And I learned how difficult we made our group project.

Do what I can for the group project which is modifying the custom add-on as much as I can and some how show any form of data.
