More About Christy (in her own words)...

I have two amazing children that have proven to be the best sources of love, laughter, & learning I’ve ever found.  Together with my husband, my family is where I find my greatest joy.

My best professional experiences (so far) have been the years I’ve worked with members of the aviation industry and my peers in the Department of Aviation Technology at Purdue University building the Applied Research in Aviation Program.  We partnered with a variety of organizations wanting to improve employee safety and work productivity through the application of human factors, organizational communication, organizational change, and process improvement interventions.  In each project, groups of faculty and students collaborated with organizational members to address relevant real-world challenges in their work environments. 

I enjoy doing crochet and baking, along with biking, walking, and playing friendly games of volleyball and soccer.  I love animals and have had lots of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, hermit crabs, rats, and ferrets.
