Countdown to Commencement
Countdown to Commencement is a graduation fair where UW Oshkosh students can check their name on the commencement list, purchase invitations, announcement rings, and ask questions. It is your opportunity to take care of you entire commencement checklist in one place at one time.
This open house event will be held Wednesday, March 6 from noon-6 p.m. in Reeve Memorial Union 201/202.
What You Will Be Able To Do

Verify your information (including the spelling of your name, hometown, and honors status) on the official commencement list.

Purchase your cap and gown.

Have a borrowed cap and gown approved (bring it with you) and purchase just the tassel. See our policies regarding reducing/reusing/recycling attire.

Order custom announcements and invitations.

Order a diploma frame or class ring.

Review special seating and guest accommodations for guests who cannot climb or sit in bleachers.

Have your photo taken in your cap and gown.

Meet with a student loan officer to discuss Perkins or nursing loans.

Visit with the alumni office to find out how to convert your student email to an alumni email as well as other benefits of becoming a UW Oshkosh alumni.

Connect with Career Services about future employment plans or needs.
This is an open house: parents, friends and family are welcome to join you as you ask questions and make preparations for your graduation from UW Oshkosh.
