Do you have something you want to say to your fellow graduates... be it an inspiring message, a funny story or a simple congratulations? We invite you to share your message at the midyear commencement as Graduating Class Speaker.
Applying to speak at commencement is simple. All you need to do is fill out the online application <visit online application here> and submit it with a draft of your proposed speech and two references. Next, a committee will review your draft and choose finalists to invite for an interview.
One class speaker will be chosen for each ceremony. Those chosen as class speaker will be paired with a professional speech coach to help them refine their speech and practice their presentation. There will also be a rehearsal before the event to help answer any questions and provide an opportunity for practice at Kolf before commencement day.
