Graduation Awards
Degree candidates are encouraged to apply for the following awards. Multiple awards will be selected for each category. To apply, please click on the name of the award, print the application, and submit it to the Pollock Alumni House by the appropriate deadline
Class Speaker:
Two members of the graduating class will be chosen by their peers to represent the graduating class of June 2008. To apply for one of these prestigious honors, complete the application and submit it with a copy of your proposed speech (speeches should be five minutes in length).
The Graduation Awards Committee will then review applications and select finalists for a brief interview. The graduate selected as class speaker will work with a speech coach to finalize the speech and refine the presentation before commencement day.

Student Leadership Award:
(Selections are based on grade point average (min. 3.0) and campus and communtiy activities (minimum 5). Participation in the commencement ceremony is not required to qualify for this award. This award is only available to undergraduates.

Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges:
The Who's Who program recognizes UW Oshkosh campus leaders for their scholastic and community achievements. It has furthered the aims of higher education by rewarding and recognizing individual academic excellence on a national level. With the support of prominent educational institutions in all sections of the country, this program is a true reflection of the caliber of the American college student.
Selections are based on academic grade point (min. 3.5) and involvement in campus and community activities.

The Graduation Awards Committee, comprised of current UW Oshkosh students, invites all masters and undergraduate candidates to apply for these awards. June & August graduates are eligible.
The Who's Who, Student Leadership and Class Speaker awards will be presented at the Celebration of Student Leadership & Involvement awards reception on Monday, April 28, 2008 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Reeve Memorial Union – Ballroom 227.
Names of all award recipients will also be published in the commencement program.
