A Salute to Hometown Heroes
In an era where sports stars and Hollywood celebrities routinely flash and trash the hero label, we'd like to recognize the real-life heroes in our hometowns - the firefighters, police and rescue workers (volunteers especially!).
In honor of all hometown heroes, we'd like to invite you to a FREE event at The Grand Opera House, 100 High St., Oshkosh, Wisconsin for A Salute to Hometown Heroes.
Please join us for the premiere of Airboat Rescue 1: When the Ice Breaks, a short documentary about a Town of Poygan, Wisconsin family, who've converted a personal tragedy into three decades of selfless community service as ice rescuers.
Share your hero stories with us at the My Hometown Hero booth.
See Airboat Rescue 1 and its operators up close.
Those of you who are the unsung heroes among us, please represent your department and be recognized as hometown heroes.
